Timmy, the Lockpicker
By Jhadiel Perez and Rachel Petherbridge

Once upon a time there lived a boy with his parents. The boy was special because he was an expert lock picker.  He was so good that even the government knew about him, and one day the FBI appeared on his doorstep to ask for help in opening a door. The boy helped to open the door, and the FBI said, “You are an expert.” He started to help the FBI for his job.

The FBI was so impressed that they asked him for help opening the private safe of a bad businessman.  This was a dangerous mission, as the boy would have to join a team to break in, and break open the safe. When he opened the safe it had a paper that said the boy’s name! It said, “Timmy is a very bad kid for helping people pick locks.”

The boy was nervous. How did the bad guy know he was coming? He crumpled up the paper and threw it away, and stood to the side as the rest of his team (from the FBI) raided the safe.  But he knew he had made an enemy.

Then, the FBI put the boy, Timmy, in a jail cell. The FBI was confused because they suspected Timmy of stealing from the safe instead of turning all the goods over to the FBI. Luckily, Timmy’s mom and dad found him and paid bail to take him home. They got home and they were all happy.
