The Lost Rainbow Tuna

By Omar Aden, Ali Aden, Jaheen Tobin, Jason Keidy, and Jhadiel Perez

One day, Jackson was shooting hoops in his backyard, making shot after shot. Then, out of nowhere, BOOM! Something flew down from the sky and landed on top of Jackson.
"Oww, my head!!” Jackson winced. He looked up and was met with the eyes of a strange creature. He picked it off his head and held it in his arms.
“What type of creature is this? It's adorable…” Jackson wondered out loud. “It would be such a great pet. Let me ask Mom! MOM! Mom mom mom mom mom mom! Can we keep it? Please please please please! Pretty please?"
      "Yes, you may, honey."
      "Thank you so much Mom!"
"I wonder what I should name this dog... cat? Dog?” The creature mewed and barked. “Whatever it is. Maybe I'll name it Melody. It needs a last name though... FLOOFY! That sounds good. Melody Floofy. This might be the best pet I'll ever get."

"Melody, you look hungry,” Jackson said, “Now I have to go to the store to buy some food for you."
When they arrived at the store, Melody Floofy kept looking at and touching the rainbow tuna.

"Hmm, I think she wants the rainbow tuna,” Jackson noticed, “I'll pick it up."
Then, Jackson spotted some cushions and said, “She needs a bed! I'll pick up a cushion. Now she can relax, since she hit me on the head and had a long fall! Now I can go back and play me some basketball."

When they arrived at the house, Jackson went back outside to play basketball while Melody took a nap. Melody woke up only to find out someone stole the tuna! She started barking and meowing and yelling.
Jackson thought she might want something, so he went inside and started following her. She showed him there was no more rainbow tuna. He looked to the right, and then looked to the left. He saw the rainbow tuna to the left. It was there the whole time! She just didn't see it.
Melody was mad about the situation, but realized she was hungry so she ate the rainbow tuna anyway. Then she said "Hmm, this was bussin!!"
Later the same day, Melody lost her rainbow tuna again! The food can was missing. Jackson looked to the left, and then the right. He looked everywhere to try to find it. He checked the whole block and everything. He and Melody decided to leave the block to keep looking.
Jackson’s grandpa was watching them for the weekend.
“Oh no, where are my grandchildren? I need to call their mom. She needs to know.”
“I don’t know where they are,” said Jackson’s mom.
The grandpa went for a walk, and saw a sign that said, “Lost Rainbow Tuna.”
