The Way to Be a Good Fortnite Player

Animal and Dottie were neighbors in the neighborhood of Area 51, and they saw each other often.
One day, Animal was being mean to Dottie. Animal was forcing Dottie to play Fortnite at one of their hangouts. Animal had made Dottie come over—they said if she didn't, they’d be even more mean to her. Dottie turned out to be pretty good at Fortnite, and Animal started losing to her.

Animal told Dottie, “You’re bad at Fortnite! You’re a cheater!”
Dottie said, “That’s okay. I don’t really like Fortnite that much anyway.”
“Why don’t you like Fortnite? Fortnite is the best!” shouted Animal.
Animal and Dottie continued to play Fortnite together until Dottie decided to stop because she didn't like it.
“You’re not gonna play because you’re scared that you’ll lose,” said Animal. “It’s stupid that you don’t like Fortnite.”
Dottie had had enough. She went back to her house to watch some TV. She put on her favorite show: Stranger Things.
Animal followed Dottie all the way to her house. They were really sneaky and tiptoed behind Dottie, so she wouldn’t know that they had followed her.
Animal peeked in through Dottie’s window and saw that she was watching Stranger Things. They barged in the house like the FBI and said, “You shouldn’t watch Stranger Things. That’s weird!”
Dottie had a scared look on her face, and slammed the door closed. “It’s weird that you followed me back to my house!” she shouted through the door. She was surprised and worried that Animal would come back to her house to bully her more.
Animal was bullying Dottie because they wanted to be a villain when they grew up. They also wanted to have a famous Fortnite YouTube channel. Since Animal was only nine years old, they had always thought that to be good at Fortnite, you had to be good at being mean. Animal had assumed this, but didn’t really know.
Animal’s other friends in the neighborhood heard how mean Animal was being to Dottie. They got together and told Animal that being mean is not the way to be a good Fortnite player.
Animal thought for a little while. “That’s not true! You’re lying because you don’t want me to be super good at Fortnite.”
But after thinking about it a little more, Animal said to themselves, “You know, maybe they’re right. Maybe I don’t have to be mean to Dottie.”
Animal went to Dottie to apologize. Dottie saw Animal and thought they were back at her house to bully her again.
“Oh no, I was just coming here to say sorry,” Animal said.
I wonder if Animal is tricking me, thought Dottie. Just then, Animal reached out to give Dottie a hug.
Dottie didn’t buy Animal’s apology. “I don’t even like hugs,” she said to Animal.
“I really actually am sorry,” Animal begged. Animal offered candy and a ten-foot Twinkie to Dottie.
“Okay, I accept your apology, but don’t think we’re going to be best friends. I’m not always gonna be hugging you.” Dottie took the candy and the giant Twinkie and headed back inside to watch Stranger Things by herself.
